    To make red chili and tomato pachhadi, first heat oil in a pan

    Now add urad dal, chana dal and let it cook for 1 minute

    After 1 minute, add tomatoes and red chillies to it

  4. 4

    Add salt and cook till the tomatoes are soft

  5. 5

    Turn off the gas and allow it to cool

  6. 6

    Now put in a mixer grinder and grind it

  7. 7

    For tempering, heat the oil in a tempering pan

  8. 8

    Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves

  9. 9

    Allow to cook for 20 seconds

  10. 10

    Add this tempering to the pachdi and mix

  11. 11

    Serve red chilli and tomato pachdi with dosa, rava dosa or paratha of your choice
