To begin making the Andhra Style Usirikaya Pachadi recipe, wash the amla in running water and place them in a pressure cooker
amla (nellikai/ gooseberry) - medium size(15) - 2
Add water and boil the amlas till soft or till the cooker release 2 whistles
amla (nellikai/ gooseberry) - medium size(15) - 3
Once cooled, remove the seeds from them
mustard seeds(1/4 teaspoon) - 4
Add the boiled amla, salt, green chillies & a pinch of asafoetida in the blender and blend until smooth
amla (nellikai/ gooseberry) - medium size(15)green chilli(4)dry red chilli(2)asafoetida (hing) - a pinchsalt - as per taste - 5
Take some oil for tempering in a pan, add mustard seeds to till
mustard seeds(1/4 teaspoon)sunflower oil - for tempering - 6
Once they start to crackle, add the dry red chilies and fry for a minute

Switch off the flame

Add the tempering to the chutney
sunflower oil - for tempering - 9
Serve hot
