    To make ragi semia, first put the semia in the steamer and steam it for 5 to 6 minutes

    Remove from steamer and keep it aside

  3. 3

    Add some oil and mix it so that the semia do not stick

  4. 4

    Now heat ghee in a pan

  5. 5

    Add asafetida to it and let it cook for 10 seconds

  6. 6

    Now add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and let it cook for 30 seconds

  7. 7

    Now add onions and let them cook till they become soft

  8. 8

    After the onion softens, add green chilies, carrots and peas

  9. 9

    Add salt to it and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes

  10. 10

    Now add semia, lemon juice and mix

  11. 11

    Serve hot

    Serve ragi semia with coconut chutney and filter coffee for breakfast
