Matar Masala Tofu Recipe

To begin making the Matar Masala Tofu Recipe, firstly cut the tofu in cubes
tofu(200 grams)garam masala powder(0.1 teaspoon) - 2
Take a bowl and mix all the dry masala including red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder with 1/4th cup of water
red chilli powder(1 teaspoon)turmeric powder (haldi)(1/4 teaspoon)garam masala powder(0.1 teaspoon)/2 water(1 cups) - 3
Keep it aside

Heat a frying pan with 1 teaspoon oil and fry the tofu cubes, then keep it aside
tofu(200 grams) - 5
Add rest of the oil in the same pan, temper with cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger and masala paste
cumin seeds (jeera)(1/2 teaspoon)ginger - paste(1/2 teaspoon)garam masala powder(0.1 teaspoon)curry leaves - a few - 6
Fry for a minute

Add the tomato puree, salt and peas, cook for 5 minutes
homemade tomato puree(3/4 cups)green peas (matar)(1/4 cup)green peas (matar) - a handfulsalt - to taste - 8
As it starts to thicken add salt and tofu cook for few more minutes
tofu(200 grams)salt - to taste - 9
Garnish Matar Masala Tofu Recipe with garam masala powder and fresh curry leaves and it is ready to be served
