    To prepare Irani Chai Recipe, in a Saucepan, add water, and all the spices (star anise, cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves, and pepper)

    star anise(1)cardamom (elaichi) pods/seeds(2)black cardamom (badi elaichi)(1)inch cinnamon stick (dalchini)(1)cloves (laung)(5)chilled water(1 cup)

    Allow this to boil for 5 minutes

    Add milk and cream and simmer for another 5 minutes

    milk(1 cup)fresh cream(2 tablespoon)

    As you leave it for a long time, you get a stronger decoration

    Then add in your tea leaves and keep it in the simmer for another 3 minutes

    assam tea leaves(3 tablespoon)

    Just before serving strain it over a tea cup

    And add sugar and dissolve according to your taste

    sugar - (adjust)(2 tablespoon)

    Irani Chai recipe is ready to be served with Fruitcake cookies, Jeera biscuits or Khara biscuit on the side
