To begin making the Gulkand Chai, add water into a sauce pan and allow it to come to a brisk boil
water(2 cups)tablespoons gulkand(2) - 2
Once it begins to boil; add the tea leaves
tea leaves(1 teaspoon) - 3
Allow the tea leaves to simmer in the water for about a minute and turn off the heat
water(2 cups)tea leaves(1 teaspoon) - 4
Stir in the milk into the chai and allow it to rest for a few seconds
milk(1/4 cup) - 5
Add 1 tablespoon of Gulkand into each chai cup at the bottom and strain the chai into the cups and serve
tablespoons gulkand(2) - 6
Serve the Gulkand Chai Recipe along with Samosa or Vegetable Bajji or Pakora for an evening snack
