Foxtail Millet Pilaf Recipe

To begin making the Foxtail Millet Pilaf Recipe, heat a pressure cooker with oil
foxtail millet(1 cup) - 2
Add cinnamon stick and cardamom pods and leave it to crackle for few seconds
inch cinnamon stick (dalchini)(1)cardamom (elaichi) pods/seeds(1) - 3
Add garlic and onions and sauté until they soften and get caramelized completely
onion - sliced(1)cloves garlic - chopped(4) - 4
Once that is done add all the dried herbs and also salt and pepper season it well
dried oregano(1 tablespoon)black pepper powder(1 teaspoon)salt - to taste - 5
Add raisins, prunes and honey, sauté for one last time
prunes - sliced(4)raisins(1 tablespoon) - 6
Add washed foxtail millet and you can add chicken stock if you would love to or you can add 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 4 whistles
foxtail millet(1 cup) - 7
Serve the Foxtail Millet Pilaf Recipe along with a raita and salad by the side to make it a complete meal
