To begin making Ellu Chutney (Sesame Seeds Chutney Recipe), soak tamarind in a very little water
black sesame seeds(1/4 cup)tamarind - soaked in water(20 grams)mustard seeds(1/2 teaspoon) - 2
Dry roast urad dal until lightly roasted and browned
white urad dal (split)(1 tablespoon) - 3
Stir in the black sesame seeds, dry chillies, fresh grated coconutRoast for a few minutes
black sesame seeds(1/4 cup)fresh coconut - grated(1/4 cup)dry red chillies(5)mustard seeds(1/2 teaspoon) - 4
In a mixer grinder, add sesame seeds, tamarind with water, red chillies, urad dal & salt to taste
black sesame seeds(1/4 cup)white urad dal (split)(1 tablespoon)dry red chillies(5)tamarind - soaked in water(20 grams)salt - to tastemustard seeds(1/2 teaspoon) - 5
Grind it to a smooth, thick paste

Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl

In a tadka pan, heat oil on low flame and add mustard seeds and allow to splutter

Immediately add curry leaves and allow to crackle for 5 seconds or more
