Apple Burfi Recipe

To begin making Apple Burfi Recipe, scrape coconut and churn it into a fine paste without adding any water in a mixer grinder

Keep aside

Peel and chop apples

In a mixing bowl, mix chopped apples, coconut paste ,condensed milk, chopped nuts, raisins and milk
apples - grated(2)fresh coconut - grated(1)condensed milk(200 grams)milk(1/2 cup)raisins(1 tablespoon)cashew nuts - chopped(1 tablespoon) - 5
Mix well

Heat ghee in a pan
ghee(1 tablespoon) - 7
Add this apple mixture and stir well

When the moisture dries up, colour changes to brown and leaves the sides of the pan,add cardamom powder
cardamom powder (elaichi)(1 teaspoon) - 9
Give it a nice mix

Cook for few seconds and switch off the flame

Grease a dish with ghee and pour the mixture on it
ghee(1 tablespoon) - 12
Let it cool

Keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes

Garnish with chopped nuts, raisins and cherries
raisins(1 tablespoon)cashew nuts - chopped(1 tablespoon)canned cherries - a few to garnish - 15
Run a knife around the edges, cut it in the shape of barfi and serve
