Tofu Pulao Recipe

To make Tofu Casserole, first wash and soak the rice for 1/2 hour
rice(1 cup)tofu - cut(1 cup) - 2
Drain and keep aside

Heat the ghee in a saucepan
tablespoons ghee(2) - 4
After it gets hot, add cumin seeds and let it splutter
cumin seeds(1 teaspoon) - 5
Add onion, green chilli, ginger garlic paste and let it cook till the onion turns brown
green chillies - chopped(2)ginger garlic paste(1 tablespoon)red chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon) - 6
After that add tomatoes and capsicum to it and mix
tomatoes - chopped take(2)capsicum (green) - red or yellow(1/2) - 7
Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes
red chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon)turmeric powder(1/2 teaspoon)coriander powder(1 teaspoon)garam masala powder(1/2 teaspoon)coriander - to garnish - 8
After 7 minutes add salt to it with tofu and let it cook until the tofu turns light brown
tofu - cut(1 cup)salt - according to taste - 9
Add rice and 2 cups of water and mix
rice(1 cup) - 10
Cover the pan and cook until the rice is cooked
rice(1 cup) - 11
Turn off the gas after cooking

Open after 5 minutes and garnish with green coriander
green chillies - chopped(2)coriander powder(1 teaspoon)coriander - to garnish - 13
Serve Tofu Casserole with Spinach Raita, Kachumbar Salad and Papad for day or dinner
