Traditional Panakam Recipe
A vegetarian Indian recipe with water - (chilled preferably), jaggery - powdered, whole black peppercorns. Ready in 15 min, serves 3.

To begin making the Traditional Panakam Recipe, take water in a bowl, add powdered jaggery to the water and mix until it dissolves
water - (chilled preferably)(3 cups)jaggery - powdered(1/2 cup) - 2
Add washed ginger, pepper seeds and cardamom to a mortar
cardamom (elaichi) pods/seeds - pounded(2)inch ginger(1) - 3
Crush everything coarsely using a pestle and add it to the jaggery water
water - (chilled preferably)(3 cups)jaggery - powdered(1/2 cup) - 4
Squeeze juice of half lemon to the jaggery water
water - (chilled preferably)(3 cups)jaggery - powdered(1/2 cup)lemon - squeezed(1/2) - 5
Stir well and filter using a strainer
