    To make capsicum Usili, first wash the moong dal and soak it for 1 hour

    Drain the water and grind it in a mixer grinder with dry red chillies, fennel and salt

    Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and urad dal

  4. 4

    After cooking for 10 seconds, add asafoetida and curry leaves

  5. 5

    Now add capsicum and salt to it and mix well

  6. 6

    Let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes

    Take out the capsicum in a bowl and keep it aside

  8. 8

    Add some more oil in the same pan and add chilli and dal paste

  9. 9

    Cook for 6 to 8 minutes

    Now add the cooked capsicum to it and mix it well

  11. 11

    Cook for 5 more minutes and serve hot

  12. 12

    Serve capsicum Usili with tomato onion sambar, rice and papad for dinner
