Spicy Chickpea Tacos Recipe With Indian Twist

To begin making Spicy Chickpea Tacos Recipe, boil the soaked chickpeas in a pressure cooker with 1 cup of water for 8 whistles until chickpeas are cooked
hard taco shells(4)kabuli chana (white chickpeas) - soaked overnight(1 cup)sunflower oil - to cook - 2
Turn off the flame and allow the pressure to release naturally

Open the pressure cooker and then drain the excess water
sunflower oil - to cook - 4
Set the chickpeas aside

Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame and add half of the chopped onions into it
tomato - finely chopped(1)onions - finely chopped(2)green chillies - finely chopped(2)coriander (dhania) leaves - finely chopped - 6
Cook for a few minutes and then add ginger garlic paste
ginger garlic paste(1 tablespoon)sunflower oil - to cook - 7
Keep cooking on low heat
sunflower oil - to cook - 8
Once the onion is soft, add the dry spices - red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder
coriander (dhania) leaves - finely choppedred chilli powder(1 teaspoon)turmeric powder (haldi)(1 teaspoon)coriander powder (dhania)(1 teaspoon)chana masala powder(1 tablespoon) - 9
Next add salt and boiled chickpeas into the pan and give it a good stir
salt - to taste - 10
Now add chana masala and keep cooking for 5-7 minutes or till the chickpea is dry and coated with spices
kabuli chana (white chickpeas) - soaked overnight(1 cup)chana masala powder(1 tablespoon)sunflower oil - to cook - 11
Turn off the heat
