    To begin making the Sago Khichdi recipe, soak Sago (sabudana) in water for 4-5 hours

    sabudana (tapioca pearls)(1 cup)

    As it gets soft and is puffed up it is ready for use

    Drain all the water and let sago dry other wise it will stick and become lumpy

    Heat oil in a wok and add peanuts

    raw peanuts (moongphali)(1/4 cup)

    Roast them till they change their colour to brown

    To this add potatoes, tomatoes, green chillies and sauté for about 5-8 minutes till the potatoes become soft

    potato (aloo) - boiled(1)tomato - finely chopped(1)green chilli - finely chopped(1)

    After 5-8 minutes, add sabudana, salt and chopped coriander

    sabudana (tapioca pearls)(1 cup)coriander (dhania) leaves - chopped(1 teaspoon)salt - as required (kala namaktomato - finely chopped(1)green chilli - finely chopped(1)

    Mix everything well

    Switch off the flame and add lemon juice, pomegranate kernels and toss up carefully

    lemon juice(1 teaspoon)

    Serve Sago Khichdi on its own or with any raita of your choice
