    To make punchy lentils, first soak all the lentils for 1 hour

    After 1 hour, put the lentils in the pressure cooker with 3 cups of water and cook it till 3 years come

    Now heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan

    Add cumin seeds and let it cook for 10 seconds

  5. 5

    Add dry red chilies and after that add ginger, green chillies and tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes become soft

    After the tomatoes are soft, add bay leaves, asafetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder, mango powder and garam masala powder and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes

    Now add the cooked lentils and mix them well

    Add salt and let it cook for 5 minutes

    Add green coriander and serve it hot

    Serve Panchamel dal with Gunda Ki Sabzi, Spinach Raita and Phulka for dinner
