To make the spinach tauve recipe, firstly add tur dal with 3 cups of water, turmeric powder, salt and turn off the gas
spinach - washed and chopped(500 grams)tur dal(2 cups)coriander leaves - salt - 2
Cook until the city comes 2 and turn off the gas

Now put spinach in a saucepan with water and cook until the spinach becomes soft

Drain the water and turn off the gas

Now in a mixer grinder, add coconut, coriander, green chili, salt, water and grind it

Remove the paste in a bowl and keep it aside

Put the cooked lentils in a saucepan and mash them well

Now add cooked spinach and coconut paste and mix it

Add a little water and bring it to boil

Now for the tempering, heat the ghee in a small pan
ghee(1 tablespoon) - 11
Add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and cook for 20 seconds
mustard(1/2 teaspoon)cumin seeds(1/2 teaspoon) - 12
Now add curry leaves, asafoetida and cook it for 20 seconds
coriander leaves - salt/ 4 asafoetida(1 teaspoon)-4 curry leaves(3) - 13
Turn off the gas

Add this tempering to the dal and mix for a while

Serve spinach tauve with rice, beetroot thoran and papad for dinner
