To begin making the Green Chilli Thecha recipe, first grind together the green chillies, garlic and salt to a coarse paste in a mortar and pestle or a blender

Place the ground chillies in a bowl or a bottle

In a tadka pan heat the oil over medium heat

Add the mustard seeds and once they splutter add the asafoetida and turn off the heat
mustard seeds(1/2 teaspoon)asafoetida (hing)(1/2 teaspoon) - 5
Pour this tempering over the green chilli thecha and mix well
