Teriyaki Tofu Recipe
A vegetarian Japanese recipe with tofu - cubed, dark soy sauce, brown sugar (demerara sugar). Ready in 25 min, serves 4.

To begin making the Teriyaki Tofu recipe, heat a medium size wide pan
tofu - cubed(200 grams) - 2
Add the soy sauce
dark soy sauce(1/4 cup)teaspoons sriracha sauce - or any chilli sauce (optional)(2) - 3
When the soy sauce starts boiling, add the brown sugar
dark soy sauce(1/4 cup)brown sugar (demerara sugar)(2 teaspoon)teaspoons sriracha sauce - or any chilli sauce (optional)(2) - 4
Let the brown sugar melt completely and start caramelising
brown sugar (demerara sugar)(2 teaspoon) - 5
Now add honey, chilli sauce and the sesame seeds
dark soy sauce(1/4 cup)-/2 honey(1 teaspoon)sesame seeds (til seeds) - lightly toasted(1 teaspoon)teaspoons sriracha sauce - or any chilli sauce (optional)(2) - 6
When the sauce thickens, add the cubed paneer or tofu
tofu - cubed(200 grams)dark soy sauce(1/4 cup)teaspoons sriracha sauce - or any chilli sauce (optional)(2) - 7
Mix to coat them well and switch off

Garnish with the spring onion greens and serve hot
sprigs spring onion greens - finely chopped(3) - 9
Serve Teriyaki Tofu along with Spicy Chilli Garlic Noodles for a perfect weekend dinner
