Manathakkali Thayir Pachadi Recipe
A vegetarian Tamil Nadu recipe with manathakkali kai vathal, salt - to taste, mor milagai (dried green chillies). Ready in 15 min, serves 4.

To prepare Manathakkali Thayir Pachadi Recipe, heat a pan and add oil
manathakkali kai vathal(1 cup) - 2
Once the oil is hot, add mustard and hing
mustard seeds(1/3 teaspoon) - 3
Tear the mor milagai into smaller pieces and add them to the oil
mor milagai (dried green chillies)(1)coriander (dhania) leaves - small bunch - 4
Add the manathakkali kai vathal and fry them
manathakkali kai vathal(1 cup) - 5
Add salt and mix well
salt - to taste - 6
The manathakkali berry would start to burst out after few minutes
manathakkali kai vathal(1 cup) - 7
Hence close with a lid and keep stirring at regular intervals

Once cooked, add coriander leaves and switch off and allow it to cool
coriander (dhania) leaves - small bunch - 9
Add Yogurt and dilute with water to make it a raita consistency

Let this marinate for 1 hour (Minimum) in fridge or at room temperature
