Makhan Bada Recipe
A vegetarian Rajasthani recipe with all purpose flour (maida), ghee - for dough, ghee - to deep fry (as required). Ready in 1h 10m, serves 8.

To begin making the Makhan Bada recipe, In a bowl, add maida, ghee, baking powder and mix it with your hands
ghee - for dough(0.2 cup)ghee - to deep fry (as required)baking powder - a pinchteaspoons cardamom powder (elaichi)(1/4) - 2
Now add yogurt and make a dough like poori dough
ghee - for dough(0.2 cup)curd (dahi / yogurt) - yogurt –(1 tablespoon) - 3
Don’t add water and leave it for 10-15 minutes
water(1/2 cup) - 4
Heat pan, add sugar, green cardamom powder and water and make one thread sugar syrup
baking powder - a pinchteaspoons cardamom powder (elaichi)(1/4)sugar(1 cup)water(1/2 cup) - 5
Now divide the dough in small equal portions (i

Round them, press each ball from the center with the help of finger

Heat ghee in a kadhai and deep fry the ball until golden brown and crisp

Soak badas in sugar syrup for 30 minutes

Take them out in a serving plate
