To begin making Dark Chocolate Cherry Cake Recipe, sift together the flours, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder in a mixing bowl for about 3-4 times
whole wheat flour - (i used organic wheat flour)(1/2 cup)cocoa powder(1/4 cup)dark chocolate - chopped(1/4 cup)baking powder(1 teaspoon)salt - a pinch - 2
Beat the eggs well
whole eggs(2) - 3
To that, add sugar and beat well
sugar - (i used organic raw sugar)(3/4 cup) - 4
Add vanilla extract and oil, mix them
vanilla extract(1 teaspoon) - 5
Add the flour mixture alternating with milk, fold them lightly until they are incorporated, do not over mix
whole wheat flour - (i used organic wheat flour)(1/2 cup)milk - warm(1/2 cup) - 6
Add the boiling hot water to the batter and mix well
hot water(1/4 cup) - 7
This step is very important for the right flavour of the chocolate
dark chocolate - chopped(1/4 cup) - 8
Add pitted cherries and dark chocolate chunks, fold them gently
dark chocolate - chopped(1/4 cup)fresh cherries - pitted and chopped(1/3 cup) - 9
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
baking powder(1 teaspoon) - 10
Bake it according to your oven since the temperature, and capacity of baking differs with ovens
baking powder(1 teaspoon) - 11
